
Michael joined P&T in 2001 and assume the role of Director in 2008.
Michael has engineered a diverse range of structures encompassing industrial, commercial, residential and railway related civil structures.
His expertise includes the design of structures in earthquake zones, pre-stressed concrete, structural alteration, tall buildings, foundations on slopes, piling in difficult site conditions, and cost optimization for building works. Notable buildings to his credit are the Viceroy Palm Jumeirah, Victoria Park Swimming Pool Complex, St Paul’s Hospital Redevelopment, Burj Rafal, Riyadh Saudi Arabia, City of Lights in Abu Dhabi, Macao Science Centre, the Chong Hing Bank Building, and All Seasons Place Bangkok. Before joining P&T, Michael’s other significant contributions to Hong Kong were the West Rail project, Tsuen Wan West Station (DD300) and Tin Shui Wai Light Rail (DD220).
His philosophy is that building professionals are, and should always be solutions providers in as broad a field as possible for the built environment.
Michael has proven his ability on a varied range of projects to customize structural engineering solutions for any type of client, on any budget.
