[Riyadh 27 March 2023] P&T Group has officially established its third office in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), the new office is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh office reinforces the firm's strong presence in the kingdom and follows on from opening other regional offices in Dubai in 2004 and Abu Dhabi in 2007.

P&T designed Burj Rafal, its first project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, - a decade ago, - and has since undertaken further major projects with clients in KSA, providing its creative design and technical delivery expertise.

James Abbott group director will be the managing partner of the KSA office, Mr. Abbott brings over 30 years of experience on a wide range of projects across the GCC. He has extensive international experience and specialises in large-scale projects- in both public and private sectors, for - developers and contractors on “Design and Build” projects for their Clients. He is passionate about delivering quality buildings, coordinating large teams of consultants, overseeing the project through the design process, and on-site to completion.

P&T has now received its Trade License to provide architectural and engineering consultancy services throughout the Kingdom.

Our first Saudi commission was Burj Rafal, a mixed-use - 70 storey tower that was the tallest occupied tower in Riyadh on completion and the first high-rise residential tower in the city. The lower 25 floors of the tower are occupied by a 5 star Hotel with service apartments. The podium includes a large ballroom, restaurants, fitness centre and adjacent - pool deck, playground, squash and tennis courts. The podium also contains a boutique luxury retail. The upper stories contains apartments, duplexes and a resident’s club on the top floor with pool, gym and lounge. This project was another landmark in P&T’s long history. P&T has also undertaken work on a number of other projects in the country including work the on the Security Forces Medical Centre Hospital projects in Riyadh and Jeddah, providing our creative design and technical delivery expertise to our clients. P&T’s is currently active within the Kingdom include- on the hospitality projects in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah.

P&T staff with local experience and international expertise are now on the ground in Riyadh actively working on our projects and we look forward to the opportunity - to providing the highest standards of design and delivery from an onshore base for more consultancy services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
