We are proud to announce that our Shanghai Office, Palmer and Turner Consultants (Shanghai) Ltd,  have been awarded the Outstanding Performance Green Design (Bronze) for the project — The Chongqing Metropolitan Oriental Plaza at the 1st CRECCHKI Real Estate ESG Awards GBA 2023 “Creating a Built-To-Live Environment”. Our Group Directors, Mr. Edward Yeung and Mr. Benny Sham attended the ceremony held on 20 October and Edward had the honor of receiving the trophy on behalf of P&T.

This project is a local landmark located in the heart of Chongqing, originally completed in 1998. As a key project for urban renewal in Chongqing, P&T redesigned it with eco-friendly design by choosing sustainable materials like bamboo, using energy and water saving mechanical systems, and providing biophilic experience that cares for the wellbeing of its visitors and the community.

The judging criteria including: Energy saving, water saving, environmental quality, building design and material selection and site preservation.
