P&T had the privilege of hosting the New Engineering Contract (NEC) Series as an in-house CPD event, consisting of two insightful seminars and panel discussions. The initial panel took place on 1 February, 2024. For the subsequent panel last Thursday, we were honored to have Mr. Alfred Hon and Mr. Henry Lam from Rider Levett Bucknall Limited, offering their perspectives as consultants on the practical application of the NEC Contract. Moderating the discussion were Mr. Alfred Leung from Leighton Asia and our Group Director, Ms. Vivien Mak. The seminar delved into three main topics: key contract terms in NEC and its Hong Kong version, challenges and opportunities presented by NEC in Hong Kong and some practical case studies.

We extend our gratitude to Alfred and Henry for sharing their expertise on the NEC Contract. In recognition of their valuable contributions, our Group Director, Mr. Chris Che, presented souvenirs to all the esteemed guests during the Seminar.
