The Professional Green Building Council (PGBC) has recently organized a series of Technical Visit Activities to showcase the Green Building Award (GBA) 2023 winning projects. Among the highlights was the site visit to P&T’s ONE SOHO project, a distinctive mixed-use urban development in Mongkok that received the Grand Award of the GBA 2023. 

Our Senior Associate, Mr. TEOH Kar Eng, hosted the visit, highlighting the innovative design and sustainable features of the project. This event also provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking among industry professionals. We hope all participants found the morning to be both inspiring and informative.

ONE SOHO is a mixed-used development in the dense neighbourhood in Mongkok. It is comprised of a 23-storey residential tower above

a 3-storey podium consisting of a clubhouse floor and 3-storey retail floors (including 1 retail floor in basement).

The development consists of an urban plaza, a landscaped sunken plaza, revitalized rear lane, and an urban passage to enhance the urban connectivity and engagement of community. The unique shopping experience at podium is based on street-within-street concept with semi-outdoor internal streets connecting shops, enhances permeability, promotes natural lighting and ventilation to the mall. The project achieves the BEAM Plus ‘Gold’ rating and US WELL CORE ‘Gold’ certification. Different environmentally friendly features are applied such as rainwater recycling system, solar-wind turbine lamp pole, air induction unit, water saving sanitary fitments, etc.
