
With the presence in over 70 cities across Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, P&T continues to have a positive impact on the living and the economic conditions along the Belt and Road Region. The architecture and engineering firm has ensured its place a key player in this growing region that, by 2050, is forecast to contribute 80 percent of global GDP growth. P&T’s importance to the Belt and Road Region has been recognised with an invitation to exhibit at Belt and Road Summit in June.

The Belt and Road Summit brought together senior government officials, representatives of international institutions, business leaders and industry experts from countries along the Belt and Road to exchange views on multilateral co-operation and to explore new business opportunities arising from the Initiative.

With an extensive portfolio and dedication to design excellence which dates 150 years, P&T had no shortage of works to exhibit at the Belt and Road Summit, from commercial buildings to hotels, serviced apartments to comprehensive development properties, including two Thailand projects recently awarded at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2018, Aira One and Laviq Sukhumvit, the award-winning 4 Bourdillon in Lagos, Nigeria, Africa and the upcoming InterContinental Hotel, Mina al Arab, UAE.
Continuous contribution along the Belt and Road
P&T’s presence and impact have become increasingly relevant in the Belt and Road Region. P&T are working closely with leading Vietnam property developer BRG Group to complete several master planning and development projects, including the development of Nhật Tân-Nội Bài, which aims at enhancing socioeconomic development at Hanoi with roads, rails, water supply and other important infrastructure. During the Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum held in April 2018, P&T Group Director Mr. Leung Wai Man signed a Memorandum of Understanding with BRG Group Chairwoman Mdm Nguyễn Thị Nga for further cooperation on future projects.

P&T Group’s upcoming highlights along the regions include Empower Headquarters in Dubai, UAE, under construction, is a mixed-use property that encompasses a 17-storey, 3-star hotel, 11-storey residential building, 9-storey office building and 3-storey multi-purpose building. P&T was recognised again this year by respected industry publication MEP Middle East as one of the region’s Top 20 consultants in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing field in the region.
With large-scale collaborative projects along the Belt and Road, it is partnerships such as this that will see P&T continue to be a leading player in the ongoing development of the region.
