Titled A Window in the Sky, the photo showcases Jardine House’s distinctive round windows under a radiant full moon, highlighting the harmony between built environments and nature.

This stunning shot earned William the title of Night Photographer of the Year at the Minimalist Photography Awards 2025 and the Grand Prize in “The Beauty of Green Buildings Through the Lens of Architects” photo competition/exhibition.

We did a little Q&A with William to understand his inspiration for the photo.

In our conversation, he shared why Jardine House has always captivated him, the story behind the full-moon moment he captured so beautifully and how he approaches architectural photography with an eye for structure, light and the poetry of space.
