The HCRC is a culturally significant project that brings together Hong Kong’s heritage conservation efforts under one roof. From the outset, BIM played a central role in supporting the project’s complexity, enabling precise coordination across specialist environments, including tightly controlled climate conditions for artifact preservation, alongside public exhibition and visitor spaces.

Through detailed digital modelling, the team was able to test, coordinate and visualise design intent with a high level of accuracy, supporting both design quality and construction efficiency on a technically demanding scheme.
