Aaron was a cherished member of the P&T Hong Kong team for 32 years, during which he completed numerous exceptional projects. He was a solid pillar to the team – dependable, professional and well respected. He also stood at the forefront of our BIM projects, bringing home a stream of awards and recognitions. 

Outside of the office, Aaron was an active advocate for the advancement of architecture and innovation in the industry. He was also an outstanding speaker at various seminars, conferences and summits on the development of BIM in Hong Kong.

Aaron had been taking up leading positions in the HKIA’s committees for the implementation and professional development of BIM and digital sustainability since 2017. At the CIC, he had been sitting on its BIM Manager Certification and Training Course Accreditation Assessment Panel since 2019. He became a member of the CIC Committee on BIM in 2022, and Chairman of the CIC Task Force on BIM Standard in 2023. Aaron also contributed to the wider community by taking part in committees formed by the HKSAR government. He was a non-official member of Common Spatial Data Advisory Committee of the HKSAR, a member of Project Steering Committee of 3D Digital Map Project of the Lands Department, and a member of Aviation Development and Three-runway System Advisory Committee, under the Secretary for Transport and Housing.

We extend our condolences to Aaron’s family, friends and loved ones. Our thoughts and support are with them during this difficult time.

While we are deeply saddened by his sudden departure, we believe the best way to honour his work and legacy is to continue upholding the high standards and commitment he brought to every project.

So we say a heartfelt thank-you to Aaron, for his contribution and leadership, and for the memories that we shared at the office. 

We also say R.I.P., for his spirit and dedication will be inherited in each of our projects.
