Last Friday, our Group Director Joel Chan was invited to share about the Hong Kong residential design back to the 1950s & 1960s at RTHK TV31 with help of old sales brochures which offer a window on Hong Kong’s architectural history.
The 1950s and 1960s were definitely exciting decades for new generations, youngsters could never imagine owning a decent flat located at central district with spacious balcony costed less than HKD$20,000! And 'No elevators' was actually a selling point of the residential buildings at that time !
