Description
The Entertainment Building is a distinctive 26-storey office tower in the midst of Central. Diagonal building setbacks from the street give the office floors an unprecedented degree of openness, natural light and advantageous views from a constricted site. At street level this translates into a generous sidewalk “piazza” at the two street corners, leading up to the 2-storey “rotunda” - the focal point of the public concourse. The project features a highly articulated architectural language, demonstrating classical discipline like tripartite composition, which when combined with modern high visibility resulting from the building’s shape, reinforce its presence as a powerful urban landmark.
