Description
The 800-room Jinling Hotel was one of the first state approved foreign-invested hotels built in China. The service guestroom tower which features a revolving restaurant on its top floor, was China’s tallest structure on completion and became a symbol of its progress and development. All public and service areas are housed in the podium, which echoes the plan of the guestroom tower. The hotel complex features a bold volumetric articulation which is reinforced by the use of white mosaic tiles applied to all structural members.
