Description
The distinctive upward taper of Sathorn City Tower was derived in response to street shadow regulations, and is further enhanced by the large entrance plaza set back from bustling Sathorn Road. The 32-storey volume is divided into various contrasting elements, held together by the powerful symmetry and common choice of materials including Thai pink granite. Alternating solid and open elements around the base anchor the 6-storey carpark podium to the inclined office tower, which culminates in a lighter “peristyle” roof feature.
