Description
Located on the primmest and priciest commercial area, the 190-metre, 35-storey tall Tower adds to an ever growing skyline of Bangkok. It stands out with its height topped with the distinct logo of Krungsri Bank of golden spires of traditional Thai temples inside the Sun, making it a prominent landmark on the Ploenchit and Wireless roads intersection. The Krungsri Ploenchit Tower combines several Thai features design to enhance its colour to its crowning top and from its main facade to color scheme. The traditional Thai characters of the building makes it standout among many of grade “A” high rises around the area. The building aims to be an upmarket modern tower with high degree of green design and energy conservation up to LEED Gold standards. The shape of floor plan is rectangular with its wider side facing north on the main Ploenchit Boulevard. By such a design, the building offers soft natural light yet not facing direct heat from the Sun. The floor plan also offers large column-free rectangular space while its central service core is placed towards the rear of the building. Such layout gives expansive views for tenants of the front and the sides while reduces the undesirable views of the back which is facing another building.
