Description
This project involves alteration and addition work of the existing Upper Building, creating additional floor space to cater for the combined new Primary Section of GSIS.
The design makes use of part of the existing courtyard space for a 4-Storey extension building mainly for Classrooms, Language Resource Centre and other function rooms. The remaining courtyard space was be covered by a Skylight as a grand central atrium as Multi-purpose Hall. The central atrium being the most important space in the School acted as the core to connect the surrounding inward-looking Classrooms and Function Room.
