Description
The Security Forces Medical Centre is a comprehensive, master-planned healthcare campus that sets a new benchmark for integrated medical environments in the region. At its heart is a 1,200-bed hospital featuring exclusively single-patient rooms, 46 state-of-the-art operating theatres, and a full spectrum of specialized departments for adult and pediatric care, mental health services, and rehabilitation. The hospital alone spans a gross floor area of 500,000 sqm.
The overall development boasts a total built-up area of 1.2 million sqm, encompassing a wide range of supporting facilities and infrastructure. These include residential accommodations designed to serve the needs of staff and their families, ranging from single apartments and family residences to private villas for doctors. These homes are clustered around a central park and connected to shared amenities such as a community center, mosques, and extensive sports facilities.
The campus also integrates a full suite of utility and service buildings, including centralized chiller plants, water treatment facilities, storage units, and laundry services, ensuring a self-sustained and operationally efficient environment.
Delivered through a design and build approach, the project is being constructed by ABV Rock and represents one of the most ambitious healthcare infrastructure initiatives in the region.
