P&T Project – We are excited to share that “Open Space Development in Tung Chung New Town Extension (East)” has received the Nominated Award at the Greater Bay Area Urban Design Awards 2024.  The project builds upon the vision of Symphony of Life, drawing inspiration from local natural elements of Tung Chung East and transforms the waterfront into a distinctive public space network. Featuring Hong Kong’s 1st mangrove eco-shoreline, piloting bioswales and rain garden, this project seamlessly connects nature, community & urban living, creating an all-inclusive urban-natural symbiosis environment.

It is an honor to be recognized by the esteemed panel for exceptional urban design, alongside the national elites from the Greater Bay Area. We are grateful and motivated by the jury’s compliment, “Very important to work with a public space infrastructure early, and to safeguard qualities such as water fronts to the public. The public areas are rather slim, especially towards the water, and need much greenery and variation in space and quality to serve such a large area of dense housing.”
