Located at the heart of Nanshan District, Shenzhen, the Nanyou Area has evolved from an industrial zone of the 1980s into a thriving commercial hub for the textile and garment trade. Today, as the city undergoes rapid transformation, Nanyou is entering its next chapter, shifting from production to innovation-driven industry.
This new development is positioned as a modern, integrated urban complex that supports the area’s industrial upgrade. Anchored by industrial R&D offices, it is complemented with retail, dormitories, cultural facilities and community services, creating a complete ecosystem for both work and living.
Architecturally, the project draws inspiration from corduroy fabric, a tribute to Nanyou’s fashion heritage. Its façade features horizontal aluminium fins with elegant undulating profiles, paired with glass volumes to express both softness and strength. At night, a carefully crafted lighting strategy accentuates the tower crown, shaping a striking skyline presence.
Key highlights include sky gardens, setback terraces, pedestrian walkways, efficient circulation and seamless integration with the surrounding urban fabric, all designed to elevate user experience while contributing to the city’s identity.
This project is more than a building, it is a catalyst for industrial renewal and a symbol of Shenzhen’s evolution from manufacturing powerhouse to design-forward innovation hub.
